Who We Are
The environment in which we live is fundamental to our physical and mental well being. We now scrutinize more than ever the air that we breathe and the water we drink. We value our homes as a refuge from the outside world, a reflection of our inner selves and a place to recharge our batteries. Nevertheless, we don’t always consider what we place in our homes and how the materials we choose affect our health and longevity.
We decided to form Inhabiteriors to show you how to improve your indoor environment while protecting the natural environment outside.
Our Founder
Margaret Fergusson
Since 1995, Margaret has been the Chief Executive Officer at the House of Andrachelle, an importer and distributor of high-end European designer fabrics, window coverings and accessories - to the Trade. The firm is known for its Signature Range of hand-sewn draperies and exclusive fabrics. The firm serves clients throughout the country and overseas. Over the last three years, Margaret has worked to introduce sustainable and responsible indoor fabrics to her clients, believing that our homes need to be both safe as well as comfortable.
Margaret's background is in finance, working in the City of London for Williams and Glyns Bank (which later merged with The Royal Bank of Scotland) in the specialist Trustee and Executor Division. She later joined Chevron Oil UK to handle their stock control. Afterwards, she returned to college to pursue her passion in design and technology.
Margaret is the past president of British American Business Council of North Carolina and has been a BABC board member since 1996. She moved to Charlotte from the UK in 1995.
